You have a helpful site here.  I am sending a little history on a relative for you to use if you see fit.
 
My name is John B. Minter from Mountain. Iron, MN.  My great grandfather's brother's name was Truman F. Warren

He enlisted as a private in Co "E" of the 47th.  He survived the war and disease  moved to Spring Valley, MN and became a farmer and remained until his deathHe never marriedMy mother used to speak of him occasionally.

 

 

1. TRUMAN FRANKLIN WARREN was born March 31, 1849 in Bath, Steuben Co., NY, and died August 22, 1931 in Spring Valley, MN.

Notes for TRUMAN FRANKLIN WARREN:

Truman F. Warren enlisted as a private at Madison, Wisconsin on Jan. 21, 1865, and was mustered out Sept. 4, 1865. He was assigned to Co. "E", 47th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment.
