It appears that my g-g-grandfather, George
A. Brown, was a member of Co. C of
the 47th Wisc. Inf Regt. I found this on the
Juneau Co., Wisc. GenWeb site. There appeared to be a number
of other individuals listed on that site that were members of
the "Guarding"47th.
